MANASSEH KINSHIP home impact on TRANS-NZOIA region

The surrounding community is benefiting from Manasseh water well. This water well gives the pastor a chance to evangelize and engage the people in ongoing community development projects.

Luyah boys have to undergo circumcision as a rite of passage into manhood. Traditionally the boy is made to dance around the streets painted in river mad and is circumcised on the streets in public view while the adults drink local brews as a celebration of the boy's bravery.

The church is having a great impact on the traditions around circumcision. Parents are now choosing to take their boys to hospital for circumcision. Alcohol consumption at the ceremonies is slowly being outdated as the people grow in their faith
